Interviews for entry-level NHS roles!

We're running a programme to get18-30-year-olds jobs as Healthcare Assistant Apprentices with the NHS in Camden and Islington.

Healthcare Assistant Apprentices are the entry-level position to becoming a nurse. You'll be helping look after patients in the hospital, covering everything from health monitoring to supporting their mental wellbeing. The role involves a combination of working and study for a 15 months.

You don't need any academic qualifications or work experience - the NHS are looking for people who have the personality to do the job. If you're kind; great at speaking to people; and patient, they want to meet you!

During this programme, you'll:

  • learn about what it's like to work in the NHS
  • take part in skill-building and employability workshops to get interview-ready
  • have a guaranteed interview with the NHS for a job
  • be surrounded by likeminded people


  • You must be 18-30-years-old*
  • You must not have worked in healthcare before
  • You must currently live in the boroughs of Islington or Camden, London
  • NHS will require double covid-19 vaccinations from April 2022 onwards, so please also bare this in mind before registering
  • You must be living in the UK for the last 3 years


  • Taster Session: Wednesday 12th January
  • Programme Dates: Monday 17th - Friday 4th February

  2. If you're eligible, you'll be invited to join our Taster Day to make sure you're interested in joining the full programme, meet the team, and meet your group
  3. You'll join our full programme which includes a guaranteed interview with the NHS.
  4. The Monday after the interview, we'll call you to let you know if the NHS wish to progress with your application. If it's not good news this time, you will get feedback from to help you improve.
  5. We will continue to support you in all your applications. You will also have access to a dedicated Prince's Trust employability mentor to give you career coaching for up to 6 months.

*This programme is run by The Prince's Trust, a youth charity, which is why we have an age bracket. If you are above this age, please do not register as we will not be able to accept you onto the programme.
